Tori Trice joined Medalist Sports in January 2012. As Project & Venue Director, she coordinates all local organizing committees (LOC) for the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah and the Tour of Alberta. She is responsible for managing meetings, timelines, and communications between Medalist/Event staff and the local organizing committees. In addition to the professional cycling tours, Tori assists at other Medalist events.
Tori first began her relationship with Medalist Sports in 2007 as a volunteer when her hometown hosted a stage start for the Tour de Georgia. Upon her college graduation in May 2011, Tori was extended the opportunity to become a summer intern for Medalist Sports. During her internship, she worked on mass participation events such as the LIVESTRONG Challenge series in California, Pennsylvania, and Texas. She also worked on professional cycling events in South Carolina, Utah, and Colorado. As an intern, Tori worked in the areas of VIP Hospitality and ceremonies.
Tori graduated from the University of Georgia in May 2011 with double major Bachelor degrees in both Marketing and Sports Management. While at UGA, she worked as a student assistant in the marketing department of the UGA Athletic Association. In this role, she contacted area businesses to increase ticket sales for various athletic events.
Tori grew up playing competitive soccer and describes herself as coming from a close-knit, adventurous, and sports-crazy family.
